From $1,000 copies of the Constitution to $75 guacamole bowls to “Grillary Clinton” aprons, the world of presidential campaign merchandise is a strange one, and nowhere is that clearer than on the internet, where some of our illustrious candidates have launched merch stores that come in every degree of corny. Before you peruse our highly scientific ranking of these amazing webpages, let us have a moment of silence for Scott Walker’s former campaign store, where you could pay $300 for a copy of his book about destroying unions. 10. [object Object] For someone who seems to be running just to further his personal brand of being completely intolerable, Huckabee stumbles hard in the branding department. He’s still trotting out his 2008 slogan (“I Like Mike”), he’s got an immediately forgettable hashtag (#ImWithHuck), and he doesn’t have any coffee mugs available for purchase. The “Defeat the Clinton Machine” shirt is a nice touch, but it also doesn’t say anything about, you know, Mike Huckabee running for president. Why not sell mock $10 bills with his wife’s face on them? 9. [object Object] According to reports from late July, John Kasich has raised about $12 million for his campaign. From the looks of his merchandise, approximately zero percent of that money has gone towards a graphic designer. His uninspiring logo, which pairs nicely with his uninspiring slogan “Kasich for Us,” is the only thing that appears on any of his equally boring items: coffee mugs, bumper stickers, T-shirts. Donald Trump has more variety just in his hat section. 8. [object Object] If you’ve seen his “I just woke up from a long nap” style of debating, it won’t surprise you to learn that Ben Carson’s campaign store lacks flair. He wants everyone to remember that he’s a pediatric neurosurgeon, and his store features nine items specifically designed for kids and babies as a result. Unfortunately, as far as we can tell, none of this is specially designed for conjoined twins. Even worse, you can’t buy a copy of Gifted Hands, the made-for-TV movie starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. as the man himself. 7. [object Object] Bernie’s politics may be left of center, but his meager merch offerings (T-shirts, keychains, hats, bibs) plant him firmly in the boring old mainstream. C’mon, dude—you’re a commie from Vermont. Where are the signed copies of Das Kapital? Where are the “Feel the Bern” vapes? Production note: “Every item in our store will always be made and printed by union workers right here in the United States,” which is a nice touch, at least. 6. [object Object] Marco’s small online store gets points for charm when you notice that every item is vaguely reminiscent of his past foibles. The “Water Great Nation” water bottle reminds us of when he sipped Poland Spring. The Rubio football shirt reminds us of when he nailed that kid with a football. And the ability to “buy Marco a plane ticket” reminds us that he’s pretty much kinda totally broke. At least he can make (and take) a joke? He is joking, right? 5. [object Object] Jeb! got a lot of hate for the $75 guacamole bowl, but his campaign store is generally free of cringe-inducing material. There are shirts about how much he loves his dad, no shirts about how much he loves his brother, and a Jeb! coffee mug (insert your own “low energy” joke here). And then there’s the “Vintage Jeb” tank, which is seemingly designed for that frat bro of yours who always wears a “Reagan/Bush ’84” sweatshirt. Also, if that guacamole bowl is trying to pander to the Hispanic vote to win the presidency—and I think that’s the idea?—his haters are gonna look pretty stupid. 4. [object Object] Everything in Hillary’s store—from the backpacks to the spatulas—is gorgeously designed, consummately professional, mildly amusing, and totally inoffensive. Remind you of anyone? You can almost smell the focus-group testing. And yet, somehow, the “Chillary Clinton” koozie combo pack (two for the price of one!) slipped by, as did the charming throw pillow to the right there, which is a steal at $55, thought it might just as easily be appropriated by Carly Fiorina. Or try the $35 iPhone case, if you’re trying to give someone a seizure. Nice logo, though. 3. [object Object] Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hat is the only piece of campaign merchandise that’s attained crossover success, and he’s clearly resting on his laurels. Nothing else in his store is likely to capture your interest, unless you want to buy reusable Solo cups that say “Trump” on them. On the other hand, that hat is pretty great—and there are 15 different versions available for purchase. Give the people what they want. 2. [object Object] Save for a few bizarre items (namely, the coloring book called We ‘C’ Ted Cruz for President), Ted Cruz’s online store is mostly run-of-the-mill stuff. And then there’s the Sabo section. Sabo, an artist described by the Washington Post as a “right-wing Shepherd Fairey” and by me as an “artistic genius,” has deigned to design some items for Ted Cruz’s campaign, and now you can buy a Photoshopped poster of a heavily tattooed Ted Cruz. Take a good look, and remember that this is the guy Alan Dershowitz described as “off-the-charts brilliant.” 1. [object Object] There’s something for everyone in Rand Paul’s batshit-crazy store. If you’re part of the tinfoil-hat crowd, you can buy the “NSA spy cam blocker.” If you hate Hillary Clinton, you can buy “Hillary’s Hard Drive,” a blank hard drive that comes “complete with wiping cloth.” If you are unaware that the Constitution is available for free online, you can buy a $1,000 copy signed by Rand Paul. If you want to ruin someone’s birthday, you can buy a 3-foot birthday card with Rand Paul’s mug on it. Is there any method to this madness, or is Paul’s campaign just throwing out crazy ideas and hoping one of them sticks? Read the product description for “Rand on a stick” and judge for yourself: Sure, there are a lot of things you can get on a stick, but can you get the next leader of the free world on a stick? Huh? Huh, indeed. Honorable mention: Chris Christie has no online store, but you can get an anti-Hillary bumper sticker if you donate more than five dollars. Wouldn’t it make more sense to get a Chris Christie sticker? Whatever. Petey Menz is a freelance writer and former college radio DJ. Follow him on Twitter. Illustration by Tara Jacoby. Eden Hazard has undergone the surgery that could clear the way for the Real Madrid star to find his best form in LaLiga.
The 31-year-old Belgian, who was a Premier League superstar with Chelsea, has had major issues with his right ankle in recent years.
Madrid will be hoping that the best is still to come from Hazard, who has endured a torrid three seasons in LaLiga to date, struggling to do himself justice since a big-money transfer.
It is envisaged that the successful removal on Tuesday of an osteosynthesis plate in his right fibula might afford Hazard greater comfort, freeing him up to have a greater on-pitch impact.
Hazard broke the ankle while on international duty with Belgium in 2017 and required a small metal plate to be implanted as a healing a…
Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed N Golo Kante will miss Wednesday s Champions League clash with Juventus after testing positive for coronavirus.
The France international made his sixth appearance of the season on Saturday when playing an hour of Chelsea s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League.
However, Kante has since contracted COVID-19 and will serve a period of isolation, ruling him out of the Blues European tie with Juve and league clash with Southampton ahead of the international break.
Speaking at a pre-match news conference on Tuesday, Tuchel also confirmed Christian Pulisic, Reece James and Mason Mount will not make the trip to Turin because of injury problems.

Thuram has been on the books of Moenchengladbach since 2019 when he joined from French club Guingamp. The forward has established himself as one of best forwards in the Bundesliga, and there is no surprise that UEFA Champions League regulars Atletico are keen on signing him.

Gareth Southgate feels privileged to be anywhere near a century of matches at the England helm as he prepares for a repeat of the fixture where it all began for him seven years ago.
Having rebuffed the Football Association’s initial approach after Euro 2016, the then Under-21s boss was parachuted into the hotseat after Sam Allardyce’s swift, ignominious exit.
Southgate’s first game in temporary charge was a World Cup qualifier against Malta, with Daniel Sturridge and Dele Alli securing a 2-0 win in October 2016.

When Thomas Tuchel arrived at Chelsea in January 2021, there were some raised eyebrows and curiosity as to whether the German could succeed where his predecessor, club legend Frank Lampard, had arguably failed.
It did not take long for Tuchel to do as another German coach had done on arrival in England and turn doubters into believers, leading the Blues to a top four finish (just), an FA Cup final and a Champions League triumph.
However, with the 48-year-old set to celebrate a year in charge at Stamford Bridge next week, he is experiencing perhaps his first rocky period in England, having won just one of his last seven Premier League games and sitting 12 points behind leaders Manchester City having played a game more.
Before Tuchel blows out the candles on his an…
Liam Manning promised that his Bristol City side will get even better after their 4-1 victory at Watford.
The Robins thoroughly deserved their triumph, their third straight win under former Oxford boss Manning, who arrived at Ashton Gate last month.
It was also their first on the road under Manning, and City’s first back-to-back triple since November 2020.
Manning said: “We’re going in the right direction but I told the players afterwards that we can play better than that.
“That’s what excites me about the group. The challenge is to strive every day to improve, but there were so many positives today.
“Three or four weeks ago, I was giving interviews saying how it would come together for us, and it would happen.

Team identity is a huge part of football and arguably valued more than ever before by the average fan – but that importance reaches an altogether different level for the Netherlands.
Total Football remains synonymous with the Oranje despite the concept – which essentially relates to every player being able to fulfil any out-field role in the team – having its roots in the 1970s. Or at least that s when the Netherlands adopted the philosophy.
Ever since, the Dutch have been associated with on-pitch intelligence, fluidity and technical ability, which has often manifested in proactive and attack-minded football.
Boring has rarely been an accusation one could level at the Dutch, but it was a term that came up with increasing regularity towards the end of Louis…

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out a move for Sergio Aguero due to the soon-to-be free agent s long association with fierce rivals Manchester City.
City confirmed on Monday that Aguero is to bring an end to his decade-long spell at the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
He will bow out as City s all-time leading scorer, with a current tally of 257 goals in 385 games, the most recent of those appearances coming against Leicester City on Saturday.
The 32-year-old has won four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and five EFL Cups, a tally he can add to before leaving as City remain on course for a quadruple this term, including a first Champions League triumph.
